Sweet Culurgiones

Culurgiones are a particular kind of ravioli from Sardegna. They are not just a typical dish but they used to be a precious gift, something special that was prepared for the 2nd of May to honor deceased. They have a particular sealing shaped like wheat grain (similar to Gyozas) which is very difficult to obtain. I literally went crazy! But it’s really worth it believe me.

The filling usually is made with pecorino, boiled potato, and mint but I decided to turn them into a dessert!

Ice cream time!

ROSEMARY AND STRAWBERRY ICECREAM to feel Spring!!!

With spring in Italy, we can see the first strawberries! They always make me think of my birthday (7 April) because my mother used to wake me up every year with the perfume of a custard roll with strawberries for my birthday breakfast, simply delicious!! ;P
